Allergy

Allergies, also known as allergic rhinitis, are where the inside lining of the nose becomes inflamed as a result of an allergen. Although allergies aren’t usually harmful they can affect your quality of life. The body reacts to the allergen as if it was harmful which is why it causes sneezing, itchiness or a blocked or runny nose and Mr Pratap will usually be able to determine the cause of the allergy based on your symptoms

Commonly inhaled allergens can range from pollens, dust mite, moulds or from a reaction to certain animal hairs. Pollen, in the form of grass or tree pollen, is usually a seasonal allergen so will typically only last a few months, though dust mite pollen is an indoor allergen and can cause congestion all year round.
